His Don Juan List

Valentin Krasnogorov

A play in two acts

In a quiet country café, where it seems nothing has happened for a long time, Oleg and Natasha are waiting for a witness before their marriage registration. An accidental delay, disrupted plans, and the appearance of a strange “waiter” turn an ordinary pre-wedding pause into an unexpected test of their feelings. The stranger, at first funny and awkward, gradually reveals himself to be far deeper than he appears, and his stories about a “Don Juan list” make the bride and groom look at each other — and at the very nature of love — in a new way.

His Don Juan List is a subtle, ironic, and slightly sad play about love, age, loneliness, male pride, and a woman’s right to true feeling. It is a story about how a chance meeting one hour before a wedding can change an entire life.
